"On-the-Spot" Event Caricatures"

My on-the-spot, 'live' caricatures take just a few minutes to produce. They are a great Ice-breaker and are guaranteed to get your guests talking, and laughing (usually at each other’s expense!!!) They are also a great keepsake!

If you are interested in booking me for your event, please phone or email me for fees and availability.  I will draw as many caricatures as time allows, obviously this depends on working conditions. ALL I need is a small working space, adequate lighting, and an audience who are up for a bit of fun and laughter !

"OK.....Here's how it works ..."

IWhen I arrive at your event, I will need approx 5 minutes to get myself set up. I usually work from a stationary position, drawing people one after another from a simple lap easel. This works best for the following reasons...

* It allows everyone to gather round and watch the caricatures being drawn.
* I can produce more caricatures during the session, so it's better value for money!
* I am able to draw couples together ... which is a very popular request.
*There is no chance of me getting 'lost in the crowd' and drawing people who don't want to be drawn ... It's purely voluntary!

Each caricature is produced on A3 size white card suitable for framing, and is drawn in instant dry non-fade permanent black ink, with light grey shading. I do not offer colour caricatures at events, as they obviously take longer to produce. Big queues are common and drawing in black and white gives more people the chance of being drawn!

Each caricature I draw is supplied in a clear ziplock plastic bag to avoid any possible damage to the artwork ... this is a common concern when there are kids running around! ... although drunken adults are always much worse !!

"Pre-Printed Stationary"

For a small additional cost, live event caricatures can be pre-printed with your company logo and website address. For weddings and parties a message of your choice can be added...
For example... ("Sue and John's Wedding" ..."Thank you for sharing our Special Day" ...Or ... "David's 21st Birthday Party" ... Thanks for coming, I hope you had fun!" )

"Caricatures as Gifts"

Caricatures are a fabulous gift idea for your friends, family and work colleagues. They can be used for any number of occasions, such as Anniversaries, Birthdays, Christmas, Engagements, Weddings, New Job / Promotion, Retirement etc...  

 If you would like to commission me to produce a caricature for you , please call me to discuss your requirements. I am able to produce a caricature from your supplied photographs, as long as they are focused and well lit. You can either email them to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it , or send them to me in the post ( My home address is on my 'contact' page). As soon as I know exactly what you require, I will give you a quote for the artwork.

As soon as I receive your payment,  I will start the drawing, and post it to you as soon as it is finished (turnaround is normally one to two weeks, .. but if its a rush job, PLEASE let me know!). All caricatures are sent carefully rolled in a sturdy cardboard tube, via first class recorded delivery.

Your caricature can be framed at an extra cost, but unfortunately I cannot post them in case of any possible damage while in transit. All framed artwork must be collected in person.
